Account Director 

Applicants must be Account Directors or on the path to getting there! Bursting with enthusiasm and ideas and up for helping us shape where the agency goes. Ideally you’ve been working in an agency for 5+ years and are well used to building strong client relationships, working with creatives to deliver best in class work and working on new business pitches.

We are looking for someone that’s extremely driven and has interfaced with clients regularly. We would love to talk to someone who has experience with helping shape strategy for clients and then implementing it.

 

You’ll be in the room when we are pitching to potential clients so experience in this would be advantageous. You will form part of our leadership team and work closely with the creative and digital departments to help form ways or working and processes. You’ll add to the amazing culture we already have at Pluto and we think you’ll love it here!

 

What You’ll Do On The Daily

  • Help generate revenues from a specific group of accounts

  • Be a strong advocate for the organisation

  • Pitch to senior clients

  • Maintain and develop the highest standards of client relations & engagement

  • Be commercially aware

  • Ensure wider team is updated on the status of the organisation’s

  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders within the organisation to ensure an optimal client experience.

  • Identify new business opportunities and always strive to grow revenues

  • Plan and manage budgets and timelines to ensure a quality and profitable service to Clients.

  • Provide ongoing management to a team of account executives / account managers, and convey the commercial goals, vision and values of the organisation to them.

Must Haves

  • Preferably have a minimum of 5+ years of agency experience

  • You will be commercially minded

  • You will have a strong understanding of client’s needs.

  • You will be a strong communicator and highly organised

  • You will be a great team leader, and will be nurturing and motivational and comfortable in delegating and directing people and projects.

  • You will be a superb project manager

  • You will be proactive in developing new brand initiatives and campaigns, and will be thoroughly comfortable and professional in championing clients’ requirements, creative briefing, presentations, cost calculation and ensuring key project milestones and client objectives are achieved.

  • You will have a relevant degree
