Here is our top 5:

1. What says sweet heaven than an edible confectionary art gallery? Maynards Bassetts did just that recreating classic works of art using only their bestselling sweets. The two-day pop up shop in Soho, London also allowed visitors to create their own sugary masterpieces using their favourite sweets as well as indulge in all their childhood memories of Pick n Mix from a giant floor to ceiling feature.

2. Sushi sweets? (say that 10 times) Rowntrees launched a sushi-themed Taste Tour to promote the brand’s 30% less sugar range. The brightly coloured, factory-style pop-up included a sushi belt that allowed guests the chance to sample the brand’s new product. Nothing fishy going on here –  we love it!

3. Who says Creme Eggs are for Easter?  Cadburys launched a Creme Egg Hunting Lodge that toured across the UK and Ireland in JANUARY and FEBRUARY. “Hunters” were able to immerse themselves in the impressive floor-to-ceiling display of Cadbury Creme Egg hunting paraphernalia as well as tuck into some of the finest Creme Egg campfire classics. We’re talking Creme Egg black forest toasties, Creme Egg hot chocolate, and Creme Egg s’mores.

4. Give me break! Introducing KITKAT Chocolatory. This five-week pop-up store, in Westfield Stratford City, allowed guests the chance to design their own premium Kit Kat bar, complete with customised packaging. To “Create Your Break” creative chocolate-lovers could choose from a range of toppings and chocolate which were tailor-made onsite by expert chocolatiers.

5. Do..nut mess with me! A donut slot machine? Krispy Kreme created a giant Las Vegas-style slot machine to celebrate the launch of its new Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème range. The slot machine offered guests the chance to win a range of prizes including a Krispy Kreme Gold Card that gave one lucky winner a year’s supply of donuts.
